Optometry

Optometrist generally obtain a 4 year undergraduate degree. After this , they go to a four year College of Optometry to receive their doctorate degree. Some may then take special residencies in more specific areas such as retinal pathologies or visual therapies.

Our Optometrist are all licensed to exam eyes for refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism) as well as to diagnose and treat many of the most common eye diseases...styes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration.

Our Doctors are also qualified to remove metal or other foreign bodies from the eyes.

We work closely with some of the finest cataract and Laser surgeons. Generally we perform all the pre- and post operative procedures here at the office, but due to some insurance constraints, that sometimes will vary.

We also offer testing and remediation for dyslexia and color vision deficiencies with the use of specialized CHROMAGEN lenses.
